Lake Michigan Dermatology offers comprehensive dermatologic surgical care. Dr. Berger has specialty training and American Board of Dermatology certification in micrographic surgery (i.e., Mohs surgery), as well as extensive experience in non-Mohs skin cancer excisions and benign lesion removal. Occasionally, for larger skin cancers, or skin cancers on highly sensitive areas, we partner with nearby board-certified and specialty-trained plastic surgeons whom we trust to perform cosmetically-sensitive repairs to skin cancer sites. Each step of treatment will be discussed with you, as well as plans to minimize risk of new skin cancers in the future. Skin cancers are preventable, and we are here to help.
